More fun details: I married a younger man (9 years). Everything about our wedding gave the chapel owner hives... apparently deviating from "traditional" even a little bit is just wrong. The minister - pictured above - wouldn't speak to us at all, except to perform the ceremony.

I wasn't "given away," my father didn't shake the groom's hand, I wes not introduced as Mrs. hisfirst hislast*. Tons of little things that made it perfect for us drove the staff crazy. No one in the family noticed, because we didn't mention it in advance.

*Like my mom said: I took his last name, not his first. She would never respond to being addressed by Mrs. hisfirst, and I don't either. Hubby is careful to warn people about that.
