Shot with Canon EOS 40D + Canon 100mm f/2.8 USM Macro
My trip to Budapest is already over, the first shots are processed and the brought Salami is opened.
As always, travelling is relaxing and interesting, and simply shooting for one week nonstop is the best way to free the soul.
Budapest in this time of the year is a good destination for that.
Its a city of the night, its most beautiful when the sun has left.
The historical buildings offer a wonderful background for all kinds of shots, and wandering around in the dusk is relaxing and intensive.
On the other hand the people in this city emit a certain grumpiness, that lets the air seem much colder than the winter already does. You don't see too many smiling faces, even though there are of course exceptions.
I don't really know where this "negativity" comes from, but it literally lets the air freeze.
Nevertheless I enjoyed being in this city.
I also met several wonderful people there.
Best Wishes to Mica, Caterina, Dan and Alley to name only a few.
I also want to thank Deadmind for his wonderful company, the interesting stories and the cool insider places he introduced me to.
Photographically this week was pretty versatile, with a certain focus on night shots and long exposures.
Keep an eye on my stream, there are many interesting things up to come.
Also visit www.crazy-ivory.de for a more detailled travel journal and some behind the scenes shot that I will post soon.
Thank you!
