A shot from my archives (taken last year) of Halifax at the beginning of the evening blue hour. There were a lot of ships in port so I use a 70-200mm lens to capture this image. This image was taken in the morning at Flemming Park (a.k.a. Halifax Dingle) on my outing with Amanda. Check out her stream: www.flickr.com/photos/amanda_white_photography/ . I played around in PS by turning it into a B/W & adding a tint...I also added the snow to give it a more whimsical feel. There was a beautiful rich blue sky this past Saturday morning and it made a terrific background for the snow on the trees. I thought I would take an abstract approach to capturing the trees, and I maxed my polarizer because I like the contrast.
