      This is my preferred configuration for soldering el-wire. Having the soldering iron held static and pointing toward you, although potentially dangerous, allows you to manage both sets of fragile wiring with far more dexterity. you can see a photo in our el tutorial from the last class here: crashspace.pbworks.com/w/page/28779605/el-wire-class

      @Syuzi I'd be happy to make ya one, but it'll have to be different because i've never made two of anything (a real problem when i've needed gloves). Me thinks a lilypad on a plushie one could be fun;)
