Mountain Man
A couple of weeks ago I actually, shock-horror, photographed a person other than myself! That person happened to be Peter Beckwith a good friend of mine and an incredibly talented musician. Day 249
In need of rescue
It's funny how things work out sometimes, as though there's something or someone out there controlling events and fixing our luck. I was stood feeling a bit helpless in the middle of a field unsure what to do with myself, and out of nowhere a military helicopter flies right overhead. By the time it was out of the shot it was so low it was skimming the treetops of the woods behind me. I really do wonder what the poor pilot was thinking when he saw a girl stood in a nightdress in the middle of a field at sunset, but I'd like to thank them for giving me some inspiration, for adding hope to a desolate landscape. If I'd got to that field five minutes later I could have been stood there for hours with no ideas, life is a crazy thing.

Day 248
Some days you feel like you can't do anything, and others you feel like anything is possible.
Today I quit my job, my only actual source of income; I was having an anything is possible day. I want to photograph people. I want to make people happy and give them memories bundled up in photographs, not serve people who don't wish to look at me let alone speak to me in a grocery store. I hope tomorrow is an anything is possible day too, because in two weeks time I'll be jobless.

Spring-time fields in night-time dresses
3 hours of stitching landscapes together at 800% and my eyes are far too sore. Time to shuffle off to bed.

Hold My Hand
After a month with my love, tomorrow I take him to the airport so that he can fly 5000 miles home once more. I miss him already.
