Plane Crash

This plane crashed in a field just north of the runway at the old Navy base south of Tillamook, Oregon on 9/27. I took the photo from the shoulder of Highway 101 some hours after the crash. The passengers walked away from the crash. I don't know who the two men in the photo are.

This is a great news photo! You should send this around to some groups. Crosscut, for example, and NW group. There are others. More people need to see it.

Thats my Dads plane! Neither of the 2 men are the pilots. Happened Sunday morning... they departed from Depoe Bay, OR.

Yeah he is ok... he is currently looking at new planes now. The reason for the accident was a malfunctioning fuel gauge, that was reading 1/2 tank but in reality was empty. They had to close 101 to remove the plane.
