Community Tree Planting in Wavell Heights, Brisbane

Residents of Wavel Heights took part in a a community tree planting. Trees were planted on the pavement in front of the houses in the neighbourhood. Holes were pre-prepared by the Council, who also provided the trees and equipment. Trees chosen were all drought resistant species. Participant were then guided around the neighbourhood to plant the trees.

A great time was had by all. Afterwards each participant receieved three indigenous drought resitant plants for their own garden.
