Calendar

I was always fascinated by these old flip-style calendars when I was little, but this one is extra-special. My grandmother passed away a few months ago. As we were going through her things, we found this calendar -- still set to the date when she went into the hospital with her final illness. I keep it on my desk as a daily reminder of her -- stubbornly independent in a wonderfully sweet way.
