Second attempt. This time, a selfie.

This is not literally my second attempt at off camera flash. I'm pretty sure that was a picture of my hand. lol But this is pretty close to being the second. I was just experimenting. I actually really like it, except for the fact that the focus isn't prefect. My remote decided to break, it'll release the shutter, but not focus the camera. *headdesk* So I had to work around that.

Strobist info: Vivitar 285HV, 1/4 power, shoot through umbrella, to my right-ish. (camera left) (It was pretty close to me, maybe 2ft./1 1/2ft.) PC cord.

This is, literally, the first thing I have ever shot with off-camera flash. I hope I didn't screw anything up. lol

It's wonderful when you find pictures that you forgot you had taken and they're awesome. I love this one. But it's weird because it's almost always the pictures I don't like at first and forget about that turn into my favorite ones.
