Alabama's evolution disclaimer from 2001-2005![]() Click on "ALL SIZES" to get a readable version. The warning goes into _every_ biology textbook in the state. Stickers like this make it easy for college admissions office to sort through the excess of applications each year. Alabama's "heliocentrism" disclaimer, luckily, was discontinued in 1639, however.
If you like the sticker, and want to stick one in your book, I've placed a PDF at www.swarthmore.edu/NatSci/cpurrin1/evolk12/al/alabama2001.... Yes, this appears to be the one that Cobb County plagiarized. CommentsWould you like to comment?Sign up for a free account, or sign in (if you're already a member). |

This Flirk site and your website are great resources. Keep up the cgood work.
As an aside, check out the Darwin Information Typing Architecture (DITA). In the technical communication industry, this is a hot topic as it is a scientific way of creating and reusing content, especially for online help. When the architecture needs to be customized for a particula organization's purpose, DITA allows you to do so using a process called (what else) "specialization".
You can learn more about DITA here: www.travelthepath.com/dita20063.html and here: www-128.ibm.com/developerworks/xml/library/x- dita1/.
You might be able to make some connection to our work and yours.
Best of luck!
