300_3163-20080701![]() went out to snap some pics of the canada day fireworks in the soo locks park, i wanted to shoot from the middle observation deck, hoping to get the administration building in the shot, with the fireworks, but that didn't work...
so i moved down a ways, so i could see the roberta bondar pavilion over on the soo, ontario side, and the administration building, even with a fence in the way, i figured they'd be some nice shots... well, the first volley went off, and they were nowhere close to where i predicted... so i moved to the far-east observation deck, to shoot from the stairs, only there was too much light, and then moved to the steps down to the park, and later, down to the next landing... i always like foreground objects/scenery in my fireworks photos, because it adds a sense of depth, distance, and breaks up the monotony... these seem very dark on another uncalibrated monitor i have at work, so... i dunno, maybe i need to reprocess them, but... feedback is appreciated.
