Like this lots and lots. Unfortunately the
white light on the sign is just too glarey
and I'd have liked more traffic streaks. Very
nice though. Welcome to DMU, if I haven't
said that already.
If the car was incorporated into the
composition (light trails or some other
interesting contribution) instead of just
poking into the frame as a distraction, this
might work.
Very interesting feedback. I was trying to
give the impression that nobody was
interested in the statement on the door.
Some comments from me: I tried a slower
shutter speed, but the pedestrian and car
were blurred and you couldn't tell whether
they were interested in the message. I
actually liked this one most because it gave
the impression that neither were the
slightest bit interested. And landscape
orientation introduced all sorts of
distracting rubbish around the scene... Oh
well, you lose some, you lose some!
I like the fact that the "Look
Deeper" sign is being peered at by the
cctv, the moodiness, the way it looks like an
interior...don't like the stuff the moaning
minnies don't like, but there's enough here
for a save, I reckon...
Interesting photo and great study. The only
thing that would prevent me from voting save,
is that if I were looking through a book
there is nothing to make me look at this
picture twice. Then again---I have looked at
this more than twice.
The car in the foreground seems out of place
and doesn't add to the image imho. I don't
know if you could've, since the person was
walking, but a tighter composition I think
may have helped.

Thanks. The subject made quite an impression on me - to the extent that I delayed/annoyed my family I was with to get this shot..

these is something very compelling about this image... but brendadada hit it with the need for more trafficy elements to make it more dynamic

close to being a cool shot but the car doesn't work for me here. I would prefer to see this in landscape.
