One of the best I've seen from you! the colours and shapes and dottings of the vibrating lights are so beautiful.

How did you get the dotted lines? Great image, btw

Absolutely incredible work - Im in awe of the colours. This stuff is so awesome. Don't suppose you would fancy writing a quick tutorial on how you achieve what you do? ( My favourite part in this are the thicker squarer dots on the left, almost like octopus tentacles - really interesting! )

how did you get those greys? photoshop?

    Unreal.
    Perfect!

Yeah, I love those tenticles too!

I'd bet the dots are either that the lights are powered off a plug pack in a power point which would make them blink on and off faster than the eye can see, or maybe an artifact of the camera?

If you find something low tech that has LED's and shake it around you can see the same dottings (computer's won't do it though)

thanks for all the comments guys - much appreciated.

those 'blocky' trails are leds that are blinking at quite a fast pace.
they were originally blue, but i isolated and desaturated the blue tones via an adjustment layer in PS.

thanks again for all the kind words - you guys rock. and roll.
    all the time.
