    I was referring to Wiganners legendarry obsession, not just with pies but with the provenance of the pies they eat. As a Wiganner myself I can confirm that whether the pie you eat comes from Pooles, Edwards, Galloways or Greenhalghs is considered by some to be extremely important!

    It was a pie making competition, so home made and rather excellent.

    I won that year. I like pies and salute the care and attention of the Wiganners. Long may pies reign!
