Nephew (to-be) Miles received a big drum for his first birthday. I think he likes it. :)

We participated in a Miracle Berry tasting today! After you have had a miracle berry (or the pictured miracle berry tablets), the flavor of many foods are transformed. Slices of lemons and limes tasted candy-like, while Guinness tasted like chocolate milkshake.

My co-worker recently returned from a vacation in the Philippines and brought back some local booze: Tanduay rhum and Lambanog (coconut wine).

Tonight was our monthly LARC meeting, and the theme was mint. We had a bevy of minty beverages!

Today was National Mint Julep Day. We were glad to oblige.
