If it did, no minifig could hold both, I would have thought...

Maybe not, but it would still look more real.

there's no magazine because thats the gun for shooting battarangs.

fits on the battarang gun (the one above the tommy gun)

But, on the front of the box, they show the thug driving the armored car and holding this gun in his hand pointing it out the window at the Batmobile.

I thought this looked like a pistol, so a magazine would be here.

I think these new guns look pretty good.
I think its kinda sad though that Lego has to ditch all there old ways like the "no violence" policy to keep up with todays kids though.
