Admirable shot. Pine needles are so
cooperative for this type of image.
I'm curious: Are these real or
"set-up" raindrops? I was
wondering if most people arrange their dew
drop/raindrop photos by spraying their
subjects or if they are actually taking
advantage of the real thing.
Not that it makes a difference in the
photo... I'm just asking for technical
general photo improvement reasons. I wonder,
Should I *make* my own opportunities ??

@ MacSmiley: These are actual raindrops,
since I live near Seattle, the opportunity
presents itself a lot. But I would say
"yes", it is fine to make your own
raindrops. No one would know the difference
(unless you wanted to tell them). And it
gives you the opportunity to shoot water
photos when you don't have a reliable rain
source.
@ l_inda_gail: Thank you! Your raindrop
photos are so amazing, I am honored by your
comment. :D
@ assquake9: Thank you for the fave!
Thank you, everyone, for your comments!

I agree with all the positive feedback here--
this is great!! You have nice depth and the
refractions are very sharp. I haven't seen
all the shots yet but my only suggestion is
to also get in close on one of the drops
since the refraction looks really
interesting. But, then again, a lot of people
shoot one drop close. This is unique.

Looks like I with the majority if the number
of comments is a reflection of opinion on
which of this little series is the best! A
great detail shot - the green tones and the
texture of the water surface are just
wonderful.
