The Interpreters

    I posted and deleted this a few months ago, but it didn't really go away. Despite its technical imperfections I find I rather like its Edward-Hopperesque ambience.

      I'm always open to suggestions about cropping.

      But perhaps I should explain that this is already considerably cropped - I took this through the glass of another interpreters' booth, diagonally opposite the one in the photo. I cropped the resulting image so as to keep the two interpreters - one actively interpreting, the other lost in thought (there are usually two per language who work in intervals) - and suggest the conference audience by the shadows in the glass, rather than by actually showing them.
