Awkward

I was asked by Maxine to design a tshirt for Web Directions 08 that's happening in September. The brief: nothing to corporate. Yay! I tried to capture an ordinary moment that happens when the online and offline world collide...
People are even starting to remix it too, which is fun. Go buy one here!! I can't wait to get mine.

Cacky, last night, by pure coincidence, I watched the Seinfeld episode "The Cartoon". It's about how Elaine doesn't 'get' the meaning of a cartoon in the New Yorker, and (another coincidence) the line she doesn't get is something about an email... I must admit I had a slight Elaine moment with cloud vs bird - I definitely picked up on the awkwardness though. Being a non web wiz, the in-joke was slightly lost on me, but it was an in joke I wished I could be a part of 'cause it's so cute! Now, after your explanation, I'm in on it ... :)

Steve - the fail whale appears on the twitter site when twitter goes down (apparently quite a bit).

And the site dedicated to the fail whale has ensured I will never feel like a loser again, as no matter how low I sink I will never ever ever ever get an error message tattooed on my body.
