Product photography is something I have never done much! So.... It would be in my best interest to start! I went to Uwajimaya last night and got a ton of Japanese snacks. But this time was different, I was looking for snacks with the idea of how I would shoot them. For this specific shot, I knew I needed two different flavors of Yan Yan because I would two different backgrounds that were the opposite of the other.

I'm pretty pumped on this shot, and what's even cooler is the fact that this is basically straight out of the camera! All I did was bump up the contrast and clone out some sensor dust!

Hopefully I'll have more product photography coming soon!

Some of you may recognize this style..... There's a photographer based out of Japan that has gotten herself known by doing super awesome levitating photos, which is so cool. I saw her stuff a while back and have always been a fan. She makes the blandest situations seem amazing just with some levitation in the frame.

BY THE WAY - THERE WAS NO PHOTOSHOPPING INVOLVED IN THIS PHOTOGRAPH!!!!!!!!! SHE JUMPED AND I TOOK THE PHOTO!

So - because she's so awesome like that... I figured I'd try it out! This is my attempt to do some levitation style photos like she does! Hope y'all enjoy :)

Finally get to kick it with my bro at his house again! It's been a while, too long definitely. The kids came over to their house this weekend so...Party time! We setup their new awesome table in their kitchen and then had a nice dinner prepared by Katrina :)

After that we played some Kinect! Of course, I had to bring my camera over and snap some photos.

My brother never really gets in front of the camera....But this ring flash is awesome and he couldn't resist! I love the way the catchlights look and the way the skin glows! Glad I bought this ABR800!

I almost missed my photo of the day today, not good!

Class in the AM, went to UW to drop off two canvas wraps, eat lunch with my buddy, go back home, get school work, go to class from 3-5PM and then went straight to the gym!

After I got home from the gym, I was soooooooo exhausted and fell asleep super early, which was not good.

I woke up like NOOOOO, I DIDN'T TAKE A PHOTO!!!! BUT BUT BUT, I did!!!! With my cell phone, so it counts :)

Pretty good for a cell phone shot yeah?

Such a long day......I feel like my eyes are going to fall out.

Did a 35 page powerpoint presentation for Biology and sat on the couch for 12+ hours and finished it right before 12AM, so I could snap this shot.

I had this idea for a while and finally got to put it to work! :)

I wonder if you ever feel this way? I do all the time.
