DSCN5239

Sam wanted her own FM transmitter. We found a circuit board trace, transferred it to a copper blank first with a hot iron on the toner, then with sharpie. Ferric chloride absorbs the exposed areas of copper. After a few minutes in the bath, the board is clear except where the resist is. A little time with the mini drill press and she was ready to stuff the board.

Michael wrote up a nice description in his final days of his senior year in 2005.
