Amazing!! 5000 views on 28th May 2009 - absolutely incredible (and it was such a dull day that day too. Strangely it is one of the few of my photos that I can actually remember taking!!) 4,000 views by Wednesday 15th April 2009 - many thanks to all of you. (This pic is Way out in front of the rest of my photostream) 3,000 views on 25/02/09 - Amazing/ My first one to cross that threshold! 2,000 Views on 01/01/2009 - Many thanks to all. (Only my second one to reach 2K) 20 July 2008 - One thousand views! What can I say - except "THANKS" --------------------------------- On the road from Inverness to the Isle of Skye, this ancient structure in the Lochalsh area of Wester Ross) is another of the most photographed buildings in Scotland. The home of Clan MacRae, it is located near Kyle of Lochalsh, on Loch Duich across from the former Dornie Ferry with the hills of Kintail, and Glenshiel, in the background (that's enough pipe tunes for now!!) If you recall the film Highlander starring Christopher Lambert as Conner MacLeod and Sean Connery as the spaniard, some of it was filmed around (and on ) the Castle. CommentsStem@
