Vivitar 200mm f/3.5 at f/8. I let the camera do the work again... I tried a few branches, but this is the only one where I had luck. Pity about the background. There were other branches where the waxwings perched regularly, but those branches were more flexible, so the bird was never in the right position for the camera to fire.
This lens shows purple fringing like crazy wide open, but it's quite well controlled by f/8.
