LomoFaux Hang Girls

This is a version of this image with a faux lomo effect applied in Photoshop.
I like how the lomo effect brings out some more of the colors that this image lacked because of the cloudy conditions on the beach that day.

@Dimpleicious and @sharlr thanks for asking about the effect, I saw it and thought it was pretty cool too so I did some searching for it. There are apparently a number of different ways to achieve this effect in photoshop and there are some actions that have been made that can be used to achieve this effect a bit more easily.
Check out the Lomography Society for more about real Lomo photographs. And to learn more about Faux Lomo I think checking out the discussions in the faux lomo group or the Lomo Fakers League group would be a good place to start.
