A toss about 4 or 5 feet above and accross a campfire. I set the timer tossed just before the shutter fired and then my friend Shawn caught it on the other side after its flight over the flames. This was our favorite. And was the last camera toss of the night. We decided to end on a high note and while the camera was still intact and not melted. :)
High toss, good catch right by the side of the fire, and a cool image I was excited about the results and so I have also added this to the flickr emotions group. Yeah for happy picture taking.
I'll fight you for that sandwich, geekvsmachine, Metabisulfide, Catherine Trigg, and 81 other people added this photo to their favorites.

Really great trefoil toss... quite a few cameras have this signature rotation pattern it seems. But this is a great example with lots to look at.

I enjoy this technique as well. It has done a bit of damage to my old kodak but the results at times can be so much fun to see. This is one of my favorites. I am glad you enjoy it as well.
Keep on tossin.

The fact that you actually tossed your camera to get this shot totally made it for me. Before I read the description, I looked at it and thought, "oh, that's kind of neat, he moved his camera around in a fun way."
And then I read... and you didn't just move it... you threw it. Amazing. This is a lovely result.

I love this image. There's just something about it. Better than what could be done in a graphics program.
