Project 365 #101: 110409 As You Like It
Getting older is a bit odd, isn't it? You don't feel any different, but without realising it things are changing a little.
I don't want to get all Shakespearian on you, but I did have something of a 'seven ages of man' epiphany whilst mowing the grass this morning.
I thought being out of bed on a Saturday morning was a reasonable thing to do, so I'm over 25. Then, realising that the sun was shining and that the jungle like grass had been winking at me for months (so I'm over 30) I decided to cut it without being nagged, making me over 35. Then I realised that the sun was actually rather strong (I'm over 40) and that I'd be much better wearing a hat (I'm over 45). The thing is, not only do I own an appropriate hat (Yikes, I'm 50) but I was able to make my choice from several (55 here we come) and chose the tattiest (here comes the free bus pass) so I now have a de facto 'gardening hat' making me a robust 65.
I'm only 35 - HELP! ;)
