Well, this was rather a disaster. I had a lot of trouble with the image itself, as the graphite transferred all over the image (as Julie warned!) even though I didn't rest my hand on it, and I had trouble seeing the lines. Then, I started carving too close on the lines and didn't leave enough 'stamp'! But I kept going anyway, and once it's stamped in repetition, it doesn't look so bad. :-) I believe someone else found this particular image as well on the web.. and they did a fantastic job!!!!

Alphabet all in lower case just hand drawn. I stamped them here in white then added coloured pencil and gamsol to blend. Then did an altoid tin (still in progress) to hold them all in. Fun project!

I know, it's a repeat of yesterday's card, and I didn't get this one right either (the balance of placement is off)!! But I carved another elongated bracket thinking I could put words in the middle. :-)

Playing around!

My frame got a little wonky, but hey, I like a little wonky! :-) I also used a little 'quarter' flower for the inside. The many thanks didn't work, but I'm just playing.
