My plan is to do 13 building in exactly the same format pulling from all over the globe, all cultures. Especially dreaming of japanese castles treated n this manner. Here I am 10 years later and still only have two done! That's okay. I'm accepting of long term projects. Temple of the Earth is from a church in Orvieto italy, and feels very italian to me (though the river is a tributary to the merced in Yosimite, called Illouette creek) and was the result of arduous hike and adventure referred to in cool cool waters. Finding the right angle and light to match the church was more difficlult than I thought it would be ) This is the 'back door' to the church by the way, The front was under restoriation and covered with scaffolding, so I can only imagine how marvelous it must look.
