I have used quilting polyester wadding for the base as it is very
light and the edges can be pulled away to create a floaty texture. It
has been overlaid with silk rovings, Merino, gold foil flakes,
Angelina strands and finally a white sheer.
The hand embroidery and embellishments have been randomly stitched in
place to create a piece of art. 4 x5 inches.

Barbara, thank you, I have lots of wadding offcuts after finishing my quilt, making these seemed a good way to use up some of them.
