Embellisher Felted - Hand Embroidery - 2012-10-21

    Newer Older

I have used quilting polyester wadding for the base as it is very light and the edges can be pulled away to create a floaty texture. It has been overlaid with silk rovings, Merino, gold foil flakes, Angelina strands and finally a white sheer.
The hand embroidery and embellishments have been randomly stitched in place to create a piece of art. 4 x5 inches.

These little works of Art you do Isabell are amazing. They always have that feel of inpressionism (spelling) I love them. Hugs Elizabeth xxx

Elizabeth, thank you, they are really only doodle stitching :) no planning has gone into making them, just imagination.

Barbara, thank you, I have lots of wadding offcuts after finishing my quilt, making these seemed a good way to use up some of them.
What to do with them is another thing !!!!!!!!! :)

Karen thanks for the suggestion, I have a small box frame that may be just right for this piece of art. :)
