I had my tonsils out when i was 4, it was a
fun time - bwhaha got ice cream tho ;-)
i love chocolate..LOVE. I have a stash

Ha! this made me smile. I justify my
chocolate habit with the knowledge that if it
makes you feel good it can't be that bad...I
always look for those scientific studies that
come out every so often about the benefits of
chocolate.

hey friends: thanks for the notes, views,
faves and comments.
I am glad that there are no diabetics in
both sides of the family but I do check my
blood sugar at least 1x a year. while I
cannot say no to pastries and some chocos, I
have given up on soda (since I was 8yrs old),
candies (about 12) and ice cream (3 yrs ago).
I treat myself to ice cream once in awhile
though.
and Eric, you are so perceptive. yes, my
bro ate #7.
never mind the calories, chocolates are an
effective comfort food!

Chocolate (cocoa) is good for you. It is a
natural antidepressant. They said so on TV a
couple of years ago. They can't be wrong ^-^

This photo looks good enough to eat. Even if
they weren't sweets, these colors are
delectable.
Re the fern: Any help you can give me would be much
appreciated. One thing I wonder though, if
this is a common tropical fern, why isn't it
offered for sale here?

jogging in Central Park, part of your 2006 NY
experience eh? After that you can stop at
PopOver Cafe on Amsterdam for some hot cocoa
and PopOver ! :))

amy- I was trying to capture action (of my
hand taking a piece) and the dim light was
perfect so that only a 15sec exposure can
make the image appear bright. but the results
were not just ghostly but ghastly. after
10pics, I gave up and began eating hahaha!
and I tested every "fruit". but
yes, I did some rearranging: GUILTY!

Yeah, I think most marzipan is made with
almond paste, egg whites, confectioners'
sugar, & vanilla extract, but I've seen
variations. I've never made it, but eaten
plenty either store-bought or made by others
: )
