A lot of people have asked me what I do and what takes me around the world. This is the answer: SEAWEED.

Hi Farl, As a child I skuffed up seaweed lying on Aussie beaches, but now it is seldom there ... I guess we now also harvest it in Oz? ... I began eating seaweed with rice, fish, vegies, etc. while overseas, and love it. Some varieties have amazing flavours.
But mostly just the dried packaged product is available in the west -- and is found at Health Food stores. So, in Asia it is taught to grow on lines! What a clever form of sea-farming, rather than fish in ocean tanks fed chemical pellets. Ughh, those fish give me indigestion. But not fish which live free!
But if the pellets that sea-farmed fish eat are replaced by your fresh seaweed ... more natural. Maybe the Asian seaweed farmers could then sell more fresh seaweed to your people for the fish farms plus your people could fly it direct to the growing Western food market!!!! - Mel
