Wheat Bread #1
Yes I am a bread making n00b, and I am using bread machine. I admit my lack of country living. I am city slicker.
But I am stepping up from the box of bread machine mixes to doing it with just ingredients- in this case:
* 1 2/3 cup water
* 2 Tbsp butter
* 1/3 cup brown Splenda (in lieu of sugar)
* 2 tsp salt
* 4 2/3 cup whole wheat flour
* 3 tsp yeast
I was just excited to see something come out that was not a dense fallen brick!

Nothing better in the morning than the smell of fresh bread and good, strong coffee. Save me a slice.
