The snow has fallen nicely from the satellite internet dish, allowing me to post this photo.

What kind of bandwidth do you get?

Funny, I just was reading ... www.infinitethinking.org/2006/12/2006-in-review-readwrite... and see they use your image in the post.

I consider it "half" broadband; max download speeds are 1 Mb/s and uploads are 256 kb/s....
I would take DSL or cable in a hearbeat were it available here, although I must admit after my last tech support request 5 months ago, the dish has worked without flaw; even the past 2 days through some heavy snow weather (we got 15 inches!). We are perched on a high spot and our roof has a very clear view of the southern sky.
Funny, they used a cc licensed photo and yet gave no attribution. Should I go growl or just roll over and play in the snow?

Alan,
I got your comment on the ITM and left a response there. I couldn't seem to find a current email address for you, so I thought I'd leave a comment here, too, to let you know I heard the dog barking. ;)
