Am I the only one who is totally pissed off with advertising like this?
There is a trend in English advertising of public services (income tax, TV Licensing) to give people a feeling of being watched over constantly and not having a way to avoid it.
In the case of TV licensing I can - I don't have and I don't want a TV.
Advertisements like this are an insult to anyone paying their taxes and generally obeying the law and they are an affront and terrible reminder for anyone who lived in the past or fled a country where your government spies on you.
I just wait for the first fees to be paid for people that report those malcontents who dare to watch TV without paying. V for Vendetta is not that far off, it seems.

This is just like the horribly annoying anti-piracy adverts that are shown in the cinema before seeing a film. It's a bloody insult really to tell cinema visitors that they should watch movies in the cinema. What the hell are these people thinking really....

The one that really annoys me is the "piracy is theft" crap at the beginning of a DVD - WHICH I HAVE PURCHASED AND IS NOT RIPPED OFF - which they won't let me fast forward through!! Argh!

@i-marco, @Rugby Mad Girl: Agree to a certain extent but ultimately, if you're not a 'pirate' I can't see why you can't just ignore it. The problem is, 'pirates' go to the cinema and buy/rent DVDs too - sometimes with the wrong intentions. Also, even if you're not a 'pirate', generally speaking those campaigns generate awareness. Just my 2c.
As for Christian's comment I also agree the tone of the ads is a bit too much.
