Now with two added lights![]() ![]() Yesterday I started working on techniques to stop the mid-day sun from kicking my arse. I realised that I'd need more than one light to be able to do it, so I came up with this.
Some fiddling around lead me to discover that it worked far better with on-axis fill than it did with a reflector (though it was a mocked up reflector with an SB-600 bouncing off it). It could also work with a light on a stand to camera left, but I ran out of stands and didn't have an assitant to hand. One final thing that could and should be changed: the pose isn't great because of how the shadow falls on my left foot. Not a big deal, but I didn't spot it at the time. I need models. Strobist info: Vivitar 285HVs to camera right and back camera left, bare and on full power, fired using PocketWizards triggered from the camera's PC socket. Bare SB-600 on camera at 1/4 power to provide on-axis fill. Would you like to comment?Sign up for a free account, or sign in (if you're already a member). |
