Eid Mubarak!

The greetings are more than a week late, but Eid Mubarak, nevertheless. Eid-ul-Fitr -- aka. Meethi Eid (sweet festival) in India -- is celebrated at the end of the month of Ramadan, which involves fasting from day-break to sunset. The main celebratory dish for this Eid is a sweet preparation made of vermicelli.

This is the dry version. Other versions include one in milk of thick consistency (sheer) and one that looks like mousse (phirini, IIRC).
