What is the distance on that run? I get a little under 6km... I have done it before and I was surprised how much the 'gentle' uphill hurt me.

There is also a path that runs along the ridge for those who prefer to stay off the road.

I think we calculated around 8km. Haha yeah the uphill is a bit of a nasty, I only realised on the downhill.
