The owner of this home just moved in a few years ago. Tonight when I took her the CD with all the images I shot in the last few weeks, she was really surprised. She had just moved in a few years ago, and showed me the Phoenix Home and Garden story on her property for July 2004. Then she showed me what her yard looked like when she moved in - empty empty and obviously waiting for the right owner to move in! That was a cool experience to meet her, see the home inside and share stories. I am encouraged to more often seek out conversation where I hop out of my car to take photos! One day, perhaps this owner will have one of her rental properties in this neighborhood open up for rent, and she says she'll get me in there. So nice a thought, even if someday doesn't arrive. I feel welcome, and all because she had such beauty surrounding her home.
