Image Photoshopped from my original macro this morning. It was fun to try for this shot, but the message is quite serious. With my son stationed in Iraq right now, this turn to a new year brings new determination to positively effect change however I can. And this timeless wish expressed is all I can think of as 2007 dawns.

Thank you all, my friends, for your visits and comments this day! I did not say it earlier, but my use of food items for this image is tied to my desire that at the very least, could we at least get food to all those starving in our world at this time. Such a simple thing, provide food. And then, perhaps more medical and health care? All the values of so many of the governments in this world seem so caught up in politics and power, militarism and control. I wonder how much more peaceful this world could be if people were just plain allowed to BE.
