Shell: Original (1 of 3)
Macro taken in dim light, a shell on display on my shelves. See the next two images for what I did with the image to make it more what I had envisioned. Photoshop play for a person with insomnia...

Thanks, Claudecf. I had hoped that this image could have come out far sharper, but then I was taking macro shots in a dark corner of the room tonight and the flash was too strong to get a sharp image to hold focus. So, I liked the shapes well enough to see what I could do with it as an artistic image with Photoshop filters.
On the *bright side*, now I know that in the light of day, I can take this shell outdoors and try again for my sharp focus image.

Beautiful shot! A perfect example of the Fibonacci numbers popularized by The Da Vinci Code.

Interesting how similar this is in feel to the most recent one of the palms !! I like the ways you "played" with it, too.

Love your dogs pics, but this image is one I really like. I wonder if you'd allow me to use it. I'm starting a discussion group on LinkedIn about Chief Listening Officers and thought it would make a provocative image if you'd give me permission to use it. Note: I'm not a recruiter and this is not for commercial purposes...just discussion among professionals interested in social media.
