- Taken at 6:39 pm - my last image was taken at 6:42 pm. A look there shows how fast the color was changing and the light was going.
Phoenix Sunset Drama, #1 of 4
This was the first of the four images I got from this evenings' spectacular sunset in the city. Had to wangle my way around to exclude as much of the urban clutter as I could to get as much of the sky as I could get. This was one sunset to remember. We'd had clouds this afternoon, bringing the hope of rain. 129 or so days now without rain in Phoenix. If you like these 4 sunset images, please let me know if there is one you like better than the others. I rarely take sunset photos, so I have no experienced judgement on the appeal. I likes what I like, I guess. Garry's spectacular sunset taken just 25 miles east of me is here.
