TP roll considerably smaller than flash head. No detail shown here as to dealing with uncovered portion of flash. is the grid centered and remaining flash head covered with gaffer tape? How about a pucture that shows this angle more clearly?

Joe2point0h: the flash i used here is a pretty old analog camera flash, and the TP covered whole of the "flash area". But yes on bigger flashes gaffertape probably would work to cover or you could cut up 2 rolls and tape them together to have a bigger one :)
