A shot of Maupiti's paradisaical Tereia beach from the island mountain. This island is lost in the Pacific islands making it such a great find with less than 2,000 inhabitants and a laid back atmosphere!
I shot this with a 300mm zoom lens and a Canon 30D

we walk a path to paradise but not always in terms of a view
a paradise can just to be with friends or ambitions we wish to pursue
A walk by the coast looking out to sea and by its beauty just pause a while
A grandchild hug or to hear their tale or just their loving smile
Paradise is a feeling when all thoughts that stress are past
And all your hopes and wishes that forever now then last
each day that rises is the paradise in many a special way
as we walk this world in freedom that not all alas can say
for those such a paradise in their thoughts can only dream
for is it not a right of man that by some it’s not would seem
Paradise we take as granted that some regard hard fort
And would defend until the last and to any length resort
So hold now close your paradise in whatever form it takes
For when we all then live in our paradise this world it better makes
