i'm supposed to like this right ?
this shot is very very striking, and these
dof shots definitely capture the flickr
zeitgeist. i am not surprised at all that it
made the front page but to be honest i prefer
some of your more subtle ones. don't listen
to me though, listen to the 33 others who
have made it a favourite. having said this,
i'll probably end up coming back in a day or
two and make it a favourite too.

my most popular shots in a very short time!
Ting - yeah, you're supposed to like it!
;-)
anyway, i quite value your comments and
your candor. i tend to like my subtler stuff
a little more too, but i had been wanting to
create something that would really pop out of
the screen even at the tiny thumbnail size
that pool photos are displayed at. that does
seem to be the flickr way, in many respects.
at least in terms of getting attention...
