   sooo sweet! I just love that bootie pattern. I heard there are a lot of ends to weave in... true? (those buttons are perfect!)

   OMG there is SO MUCH FINISHING on the bootees!!! Me and buttons don't mix, AND there are a lot of ends to weave in. I tried following Cauchy09's trick for doing a buttonhole at the ends of the straps, but after 4 failed attempts, I just couldn't do it, so that was 4 more strands I had to weave in (I just looped up an extra strand of yarn and then wove in the ends into the straps). Phew!

   p.s. I ended up using a really small needle, and just threading the ends into the fibers of the yarn... they seemed more sturdy that way.

   yikes! yeah, I really hate weaving in ends... but the end result just might be worth it, they are ADORABLE! i admire your patience!!

   There's GOT to be an easier way to do those buttonholes. I've been searching... I'll let you know if I can find anything. Otherwise, there are about 8 ends to weave in on each bootee. (But don't think about it - because they're worth it! :))
