Someone just spent the past hour putting together this little collage.

So...... I want to make this dress: Anna Maria Horner - Socialite Dress. The fabric on the left will be the body (already bought it) and I want to use one of the ones on the right for a contrasting border. SINCE I SUCK AT COLOR THEORY I was hoping one of you fine Flickrites could help steer me in the right direction?! Thanks!!!

Totally ridiculous

This is a totally ridic way to knit a sweater. I started the body last week (on our road trip) and a couple inches into it I realized not only had I used the wrong needle size for the ribbing, but I had no idea where to place the waist decreases. I wanted to keep knitting, so I knit up the sleeves. When I finished those, I still wanted to keep knitting, so I just attached the body and started knitting the yoke. I'll go back and rip out the body ribbing and re-do it later.
