um, first of all - wow, extraordinary shot. it looks like the umbrella is casting it's pinkish color into the light. gorgeous cindy.

and about the milk bottle - a taller person probably put it there for a second while he tied his shoe. but then she walked away with it. happens all the time. :)

    lovely shot.

i think they are to collect the dripping water when you fold it up to go inside or on the bus or something.

Probably as a reminder that "milk does a body good." =)
It's not really on the umbrella, is it? haha
The tones in this are so lovely. Makes me want to walk in the rain.

maybe there was a hole or she lost the little circular top thingy of the umbrella and it's actually not a whole bottle but just the top of the bottle hacked off the deflect the rainwater down the sides.

Huh ... For the bottle of milk, you made my day ! ... I have any solutions for you. My best is that as most of the persons, this girl has the delicacy to avoid putting in brooch her contemporaries in the street. The bit more she does is working in a milk factory, specialized in milk for babies. That why the umbrella is pink. That's all !

Not convincing?... Nevertheless I like very much, and the image and the treatment which is applied in this one. Great job.

I think it is meant to be all profound, like walking in lieu of driving. You know, cause you set your drinks on your car, then drive off. Also, promotion of healthful beverages, milk instead of soda. :P

It's when you close the umbrella, it can extend and cover up the umbrella. It keeps the water from getting on everything. It's useful when you're going indoors after it rains.

such a beautiful shot! and i love the bokeh!

    jodi*mckee is right :)

Anyway, I like to pretend it is, in fact, a milk bottle. It's funnier that way, to imagine different possibilities that can explain it. Lovely shot!

LOL I've never seen the milk bottle....beautiful tones

Love this shot. Incredible separation between her and the background; looks sort of like it was done against a blue screen and the street scene added later, or she's looking into a window with the street reflected in it.....very cool :)

i think when its not being used you can pull that cap down and it protects the umbrella. nice shot.

    cool shot.
is she measuring the rainfall? =]

  43. Faith Fashion & Photos (53 months ago | reply)

    Terrific shot Cindy!

As for the bottle, I can only guess that she might be measuring the amount of rain??

  44. the tricia [deleted] (53 months ago | reply)

that isnt a milk bottle lol that's like a cap for the umbrella..
i used to have one of those
its like when you fold the umbrella, you can stretch the "milk bottle" outward and it covers the umbrella :)
