The summer of 1997.
I 'stole' this picture from Astro Boy(AB). He cant remember what he used to take it.

You know sometimes when you've read a passage in a book and something familiar comes back to you because you'd been right there? I got that feeling when I saw this.

AB must have been only 19 that summer. He'd gotton up at dawn for rowing practice just like every other morning there was practice. For some reason, that day he must have had a camera with him and this is what he took.

Such a lovely quiet picture of a summer's morning with the sun creeping up. I wasn't there that morning, I was probably on the other side of the earth sound asleep. But with this picture,some how I was there with that boy standing by the pier.....

Just down the road from my home. Always wanted to try it but just never had the chance. Thought I should because I wasnt sure when I would be back in London.
The chocolate one on the right with baileys cream in the middle was lovely.
