for some reason, this was in the window of a dry cleaners. i mean, i guess they just like it. i guess i do too. I'm glad they put it there. thank you, them.

fresh mushroom

i was enchanted by the freshness of the mushrooms i bought, soil still clinging to the stems. then i cooked them into a fine quiche.

buzz aldrin

i was unaware going into it that this band has two members with hand deformities. the drummer has a regular right hand and a contraption to hold his drum stick on the left. He's like one of my heros, Amy Mullins who, despite not having legs, runs like a cheetah and does more with fake legs than I will ever do with real ones. The singer has two deformed fingers on his left hand. I must say, this intriguing factor made me like the band even more.
