And a lovely basic it is. I will confess I
opted for The Lake House rather than An
Inconvenient Truth on my last movie
expotition. Shallow of me, I know, but you
can't argue that Sandra Bullock is prettier
than Al Gore.

Nice shot, I like the brake lights sweeping
across the bottom. The Wilma is such a
photogenic old building.

Chris: Gorgeous shot of the old dame.
Ruth: I did the EXACT same thing!! I need
to go see AIT, but just wasn't in the mood to
think.

Ha Patia - that's funny. The real payoff of
The Lake House was the cinematography,
actually - it's an amazing visual love affair
with Chicago architecture. And that made me
willing to just not worry about the fact that
the whole time travel/time warp/parallel
universe thing didn't really make a whole lot
of sense.

thanks folks. matt, it took me a couple
tries. tricky with mirror lock on.
i passed on Mr. Gore and went with Mr.
Keillor last week. Mr. Gore isn't going to
tell me much I don't already fear, and he'd
just make me want to eat a bullet. I totally
enjoyed Prairie Home while watching ( i could
watch Lily Tomlin do anything -- she just
makes me happy to be alive), but I came away
with nothing. haven't thought about it since.

A really gorgeous shot Chris. I've only
recently started going to the Wilma after
living around here since 2001. There's just
something awesome about that place, there
truly is. Lots of memories to be made there,
for sure. Anyway, lovely capture...

Thanks, Lirael. I've been enjoying it. If
only I had a way of pulling the plug on the
DJ at the Rhino at 1:30AM on Wednesday's,
it'd be perfect.

Oh I hear you, Mr. Lombardi - I've just taken
refuge in the suburbs for a month - first
full night's sleep I've had in two years, I
think, without drunks yelling at 2:30AM,
closely followed by delivery trucks unloading
starting at 5:30AM. Stay tuned for 'sunrise
from Port Moody' shots in the near future.
